G.] carried on the business of silversmiths, and that the following goods and chattels belonging to him [or them], and of which he is [or they are] the owner [or owners], that is to say, one silver milk cup, &c. [describing all the stolen goods, or goods unlawfully obtained ], have been lately, to wit, on the day of unlawfully obtained and taken from him [or them] the said C. D. [and E. F. and F. G.], at the parish of aforesaid [if known, say, by one A. B., the servant of the said C. D. [and E. F. and F. G.], and that he the said C. D. hath just cause to suspect and doth suspect that the said goods have been [by the said A. B., or by some person whose name is unknown] unlawfully pawned [or pledged, or exchanged ], and that W. P. and J. R., of in the said county, pawnbrokers, have taken to pawn and by way of pledge the said goods so obtained and taken as aforesaid, without the privity or authority of the said C. D. [E. F., F. G., or any or either of them], as such owners of the said goods; And the grounds of the suspicion of the said C. D. are [state them briefly.] 4. D., whereupon I, the said justice, did issue my warrant, directed to the constables of the said parish of commanding them to search within the hours of business the house, warehouse and other place of the said W. P. and J. R., the persons so charged as aforesaid or suspected to have received and taken in pawn and pledge the said goods as aforesaid, situate at aforesaid: And whereas W. S., a constable of the said parish of ——, afterwards, to wit, on the Id. s. 24. day of instaut, in pursuance of and according to my said warrant, did search the house and warehouse of the said W. P. and J. R., wherein the said goods were on oath as aforesaid charged and suspected to be; and upon such search thereof the said goods which had been so pawned and pledged as aforesaid were found in the said house and warehouse: And whereas on this day, to wit, on the day of, at ———, in the county aforesaid, the said goods last mentioned have been brought before me the said justice by the said W. Award of Satisfaction to the Party injured, when Goods by Neglect, &c. are rendered of less Value than when pawned. B., of &c., pawnbroker, the following goods, to wit And whereas it is proved to my satisfaction upon oath that the said goods so pawned are rendered of less value than the same were at the time of pawning thereof, through the default of the said A. FORMS AS TO THE REMOVAL OF THE POOR (a). County of C. The complaint of C. D., one of the overseers of the to wit. poor of the parish of L., in the said county of C., made on behalf of the churchwardens and overseers of the poor of the said parish of L., and with their assent, unto us [or me] the undersigned, two [or one] of her Majesty's justices of the peace in and for the said county, at in the said county, this day of, A.D. 185-, who saith, that A. B. [the wife of C. B., who has deserted her, or is a prisoner confined in the common gaol at -], M. his wife, and their three children, namely, A. aged seven years or thereabouts, B. aged five years or thereabouts, and C. aged three years or thereabouts, have lately come to inhabit and are now inhabiting in the said parish of L., endeavouring to settle there contrary to law, [if the pauper have not, in fact, resided five years within statute 9 & 10 Vict. c. 66, s. 1, here insert, "not having resided in the said parish for five years next before this application and complaint, and"] not having gained a settlement therein, nor having produced any certificate acknowledging them to be settled elsewhere; and that, on the day of, A.d. 185—, the said A. B. and his said wife and children became chargeable to the said parish of L. [adding, where the order is to be suspended by reason of sichness, &c., in respect of relief made necessary by sickness of the said A. B., [or accident to the said A.
