Watkins' Real Estate Acts

A collection of all the Acts relating to the title to and transfer of
Real Estate in New South Wales. Compiled and edited by
JOHN L. WATKINS, M.A., Cantab. & Sydn., and of the Inner
Temple, Barrister-at-Law.

The above collection will comprise the Colonial Statutes of general use among conveyancers, and such of the Imperial Enactments as have been recognized either expressly or by implication or by the authority of long usage, as in force and applicable to Real Estate in the colony.

The arrangement of the book will be alphabetical, and the titles chosen for the Acts will be those in most common use among the profession; other titles will be given as cross-references. The crossreferences will also be used to bring together enactments referable to one subject matter, but scattered through different Acts.

The notes will be almost exclusively confined to decisions of our own Courts and appeals to the Privy Council, and to such references to other enactments as are thought useful.
