Shortly after 10 o'clock on the morning of 6th month. 9th, 1893, the Forty-first Yearly Meeting of Progressive Friends convened at Longwood, Chester Co., Pa.

The meeting opened with music, after which the Presiding Clerk, REV. FREDERIC A. HINCKLEY, of Florence, Mass., read the following:

CALL.

The Forty-first Yearly Meeting of Progressive Friends will be held at Longwood, Chester County, Pennsylvania, near Kennett Square, on the Philadelphia & Baltimore Central Railroad, (from which place conveyance is had by stage) on Sixth, Seventh and First-days, the 9th, 10th and 11th of Sixth-month, 1893.

The work of free thinking and honest speaking on great themes is never done. Let us come together now to consider the new duties which the new occasions teach.
