An Ordinance to continue a certan Act, intituled, "An Act to regulate the Exercise of certain Rights of Lessors and Lessees."

HEREAS it is expedient to continue a certain Act of the Legislature of the Province of Lower Canada, passed in the Third Year of the Reign of His late Majesty King William the Fourth, intituled "An Act to regulate the Exercise "of certain Rights of Lessors and Lessees," which would otherwise expire on the first day of May, in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty-eight. Be it therefore Ordained and Enacted, by His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of this Province, authorized to execute the Commission of the Governor thereof, with the advice and consent of the Special Council for the affairs of the said Province,constituted and assembled by virtue of and under the authority of an Act passed by the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, in the First Year of the Reign of Her present Majesty, intituled, "An Act to make temporary provision for the Government of Lower Canada;" And it is hereby Ordained

que depuis et après le premier jour de Mai prochain, la dite section du dit Acte expirera et cessera d'avoir force ou effet.

TTENDU qu'il est expédient de continuer un certain Acte de la Législature de la Province du Bas.Canada, passé dans la troisième année du règne de feu Sa Majesté le Roi Guillaume Quatre, intitulé, "Acte pour régler l'exercice de cer"tains droits des locateurs et locataires," lequel devait expirer le premier jour de Mai de l'an mil huit cent trente-huit; Qu'il soit en conséquence ordonné et statué par Son Excellence l'Administrateur du Gouvernement de cette Province, autorisé à exécuter la Commission du Gouverneur d'icelle, de l'avis et consentement du Conseil Spécial pour les affaires de la dite Province, constitué et assemblé en vertu et sous l'autorité d'un Acte du Parlement du Royaume-Uni de la GrandeBretagne et d'Irlande, passé dans la première année du règne de Sa présente Majesté, intitulé, "Acte pour établir des dispositions temporaires pour le Gouvernement du "Bas-Canada," et il est par les présentes Ordonné et Statué, par l'autorité d'iceux,

HEREAS it is expedient to continue a certain Act of the Legislature of the Province of Lower Canada, passed in the Sixth Year of the Reign of His late Majesty King William the Fourth, intituled, "An Act to provide less "expensive means for the recovery of wages due to Seamen of Vessels belonging to, or registered in this Province," which would otherwise expire on the first day of May, in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty-eight. Be it therefore Ordained and Enacted, by His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of this Province, authorized to execute the Commission of the Governor
