I hereby give you notice that having received notice of your intention to claim compensation under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act in respect of improvements alleged to have been made by you on the holding, situate in the County of

No 6.

Notice of intention to remove Fixtures (Sec. 31).

I hereby give you notice that it is my intention at the expiration of one month from the giving of this notice to remove, under the provisions in that behalf contained in the above-mentioned Act, the fixtures hereinafter mentioned, and which I have affixed to or built upon the holding situate at in the County of which I now hold as tenant under you; and take further notice that such fixtures comprise [here describe the engine, machinery, fencing, building, or other fixtures intended to be removed].

N.B.-This notice must be served at least one month previous to the removal of the fixtures, which can only be removed before the determination of the tenancy or within a reasonable time thereafter; it should therefore be served (to be safe) at least 5 or 6 weeks before the end of the tenancy, and may be served as provided by see. 28.

Notice of Landlord's election to take Fixtures (sec. 34).

I hereby give you notice that I elect to purchase the following Fixtures comprised in your notice to me of your intention to remove the same, dated the

Having regard to the material Alterations in the Law of Compensation for Tenants' Improvements, Notices to Quit, Distresses for Rent, Fixtures, and other Important Points, made by the above Act, and which will have a direct and immediate effect on existing as well as future tenancies; and to the fact that as nearly all existing agreements will require modification to meet these alterations in the Law, the Publisher has pleasure in announcing that a draft Form of Agreement for the occupation of a Farm or Lands from year to year has been settled by the Author of this Handbook, specially designed for the use of Landlords and their Agents, and a Specimen of the Form (which is copyright) will be sent post free from this office on receipt of 5s. by postal order, entitling the purchaser thereafter to use the Form.

The Publisher has also made arrangements for supplying Land Agents and others with any number of Copies of this Form of Agreement at the usual cost for printing, and to print in names and such other special clauses or matter as may be required to make the Agreement ready for use.
