CHAPTER 63.

An Act to amend "The Law Society Act."

[Assented to March 10th, 1916.]

IS MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the
Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:-

1. Section 5 of chapter 111 of the Revised Statutes of Section 5 of Manitoba, 1913, is hereby repealed and the following sub-ciety Act", restituted therefor:

(b) The following shall be ex-officio Benchers: the Minister Ex-officio of Justice and the Solicitor-General of Canada for the time being, and every person who has held that office if a member of the Bar of Manitoba, and the Attorney-General for the time being of Manitoba, and every person who has been such Attorney-General if resident in the Province and in the practise of his profession, and any retired judge or judges of the Courts of Appeal and King's Bench for Manitoba. The term "retired" in this section shall not be construed to mean any judge who has resigned from the bench and is engaged in the active practice of his profession of barrister or solicitor.

3. Section 10 of the said Act is hereby amended by striking Section 10 out the words "vote for fourteen members for benchers" and inserting in lieu thereof the words "cast his vote for benchers in accordance with the requirements of this Act."

4. Section 13 of the said Act is hereby repealed and the Section 13 refollowing substituted therefor:

CHAPTER 64.

An Act to amend "The Legislative Assembly Act."

Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:-

CHAPTER 65.

An Act to amend "The Manitoba Magistrates Act."

Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:

"The Manitoba
