THE WEATHER. June comes in with fine dry weather, and mostly a clear air. The Baronieter keeps high and steady, with the wind most commonly from the western parts, although for some days we may have it from the easterly parts during which time the atmosphere will be more heavy and cloudy, but during the whole month fine weather will be the most general, with very little downfal. About the 21st and 22nd days we may have a little rain, but not of long continuance. THE WEATHER. There is not a great deal of moisture in the atmosphere, and the weather is more inclined to be fine and dry than otherwise, indeed as the month advances the quantity of moisture is on the decrease, with the wind more from the western parts than from any other quarter; after the 11th day there will be little rain to the extreme end of the month. |
