On Sundays

DELIVERIES BY LETTER CARRIERS four times a-day, viz 7 and 9 a.m., and 4 and 8 p.m. there is one delivery only, about 7-30 a.m., and there is no attendance at the Office after 10 am. but the Letter Box remains open as other days.

POST-OFFICE ORDERS may be obtained at the Post-Office; for sums not exceeding £2, the charge is threepence; above £2, and not exceeding £5, sixpence.-Open from nine o'clock in the morning to six in the evening.-On Saturdays from nine in the morning to eight in the evening.

The Receiving Houses are in Waverley-Street, Machell-Street, Carlisle-Street, Witham, QueenStreet, Worship-Street, and Beverley Road.-Cleared at 2-0, 6-30, and 8-15, p.m., Sundays 6-0, p. m., only.

The Letter Box at the Paragon Street Station is cleared at 6-20 a.m., 2-30 p.m., 5-30 p.m., 7-20 p.m., 8-15 p.m. On Sundays at 7-0 a.m. and 6-0 p.m. only. The Letter Box at the Hull and Holderness Railway Station is cleared at 6-0 p.m. daily.

RATES OF POSTAGE.-Not exceeding

ounce, 1d. ;-exceeding ounce and not exceeding 1 ounce 2d.;-exceeding 1 ounce and not exceeding 2, 4d.; exceeding 2 ounces and not exceeding 3; 6d,; and 2d. for every additional ounce.
