October comes in with fine weather, and very little moisture in the atmosphere, and the fine weather continues for some time. The wind will be changeable, but not cold, and little rain may be looked for until atter the 20th, and even then we shall have it in very small quantity, for the present October appears to promise the finest we have had for some years past. The dull and heavy fogs which usually bring in the month of November will not shew themselves much. at least, at the early part of this month, but fine weather, for the season, will be found more general, with little moisture in the atmosphere indeed we think that the weather in this month will be finer than we have had it generally at this time of the year.
