OF THE LAW RELATING TO INDUSTRIAL AND PROVIDENT SOCIETIES, IN THEIR FORMATION, EXISTENCE, AND DISSOLUTION. WITH AN APPENDIX CONTAINING FORMS OF RULES, STATUTES, AND GENERAL ORDERS. H. SWEET, 3, CHANCERY LANE, OTHE V VI PREFACE. THE writer has endeavoured, in the following pages, to provide a manual of the Law relating to Co-operative Societies, which should be sufficiently full without being voluminous, and which should be intelligible, not only to the profession, but also to the Officers and Members of those Societies; he has therefore divested the text of much of the technicality current in the Law, and (especially in the second and third Chapters) treated the subject in a very elementary manner as more suitable to the non-professional reader.
