By Act 2 William IV. cap. 45, § 14, each of the following counties, to be divided into Two divisions, as settled by the Boundary Act, viz.Cheshire, Cornwall, Cumberland, Derby, Devon, Durham, Essex, Gloucester, Kent, Hampshire, Lancaster, Leicester, Norfolk, Northum berland, Northampton, Nottingham, Shropshire, Somerset, Stafford, Suffolk, Surrey, Sussex, Warwick, Wilts, Worcester, and to return Four Members instead of Two, i. e. Two for each division; such Members to be chosen in like manner as if each division were a separate county. By Act 2 William IV. cap. 45, § 15, Three Members to be returned for each of the following counties instead of Two, viz.--Berks, Bucks, Cambridge, Dorset, Hereford, Hertford, Oxford; and Two, instead of One, for each of the counties of Carmarthen, Denbigh, and Glamorgan. By Act 2 William IV. cap. 45, § 16, the Isle of Wight, for the purposes of the Act, to be a county of itself, separated from Southampton, and return One Member, to be chosen in the same manner as the Members for Counties.
