CHAP. XXIV.

AND he faid unto Mofes, Come up unto the LORD, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and feventy of the elders of Ifrael; and worship ye afar off.

2 And Mofes alone fhall come near the LORD: but they fhall not come nigh; neither fhall the people go up with him.

31 And Mofes came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments and all the people answered with one voice, and faid, All the words which the LORD hath faid will we do.

▲ And Mofes wrote all the words of the LORD, and rofe up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Ifrael.

14 And he faid unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you if any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them.

15 And Mofes went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount. 16 And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it fix days and the feventh day he called unto Moles out of the midst of the cloud.

17 And the fight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount, in the eyes of the children of Ifrael.

18 And Mofes went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount; and Mofes was in the mount forty days and forty nights.

CHAP. XXV.

The offering for the tabernacle. 10The form of the ark. 17 The mercy-feat. 23 The table. 31 The candlestick.

AND the LORD fpake unto Mofes, faying,

2 Speak unto the children of Ifrael, that they bring me an offering of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye fhall take my offering.

3 And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold and silver, and brass, 5 And he fent young men of the chil- 4 And blue, and purple, and scarlet, dren of Ifrael, which offered burnt-of-and fine linen, and goat's hair, ferings, and facrificed peace-offerings of oxen unto the LORD.

6 ¶ And Mofes took half of the blood, and put it in bafons: and half of the blood he fprinkled on the altar.

7 And he took the book of the cove nant, and read in the audience of the people and they faid, All that the LORD hath faid will we do, and be obedient.

MOREOVER, thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet with cherubims of cunning work fhalt thou make them.

2 The length of one curtain shall be eight and twenty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and every one of the curtains fhall have one measure.

3 The five curtains shall be coupled to.

26 And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four cor-gether one to another; and other five curners that are on the four feet thereof,

27 Over against the borders fhall the rings be, for places of the ftaves to bear the table.

AND thou fhalt make an altar of hittim wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar fhall be fourfquare: and the height thereof shall be three cubits.

4 And thefe are the garments which they shall make; a breast-plate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a broidered coat, a mitre, and a girdle and they fhall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his fons, that he may minifter unto me in the prieft's office.

5 And they fhall take gold, and blue, and purple, and fcarlet, and fine linen.

6 And they hall make the ephod of gold, of blue and of purple, of fcarlet, and fine twined linen, with cunning work.

It shall have the two thoulder-pieces thereof joined at the two edges thereof; and fo it fhall be joined together.

8 And the curious girdle of the ephod, which is upon it, shall be of the fame, according to the work thereof; even of gold, of blue, and purple,and fcarlet,and fine twined linen.
