AN ACT to validate the Rates made by the BE [Assented to 22nd September, 1914.] E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1. This Act may be cited as the Leederville Rates Validation Short title. Act, 1914. 2. All rates heretofore made and levied or purporting to have Validation of rates. been made and levied by the Council of the Municipality of Leederville shall be deemed to have been lawfully made and levied, and all things necessary to be done in and towards the making and levying of such rates shall be deemed to have been duly performed, notwithstanding any failure to comply with any of the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1906, or any Act thereby repealed relating thereto, and the said rates, so far as the Council had power to make and levy the same, may be recovered by the Council accordingly as if the provisions of the said Acts had been in all respects duly complied with.
