I T may perhaps be expected I fhould give fome Account of the unfortunate Author of the following beautiful Poems; but as this is already done in a masterly Manner, by the excellent Author of the Rambler, I fhall refer my Readers to that elegant Writer for the Series of Misfortunes, and remarkable Circumftances which diftinguished the Life of Mr. Savage, and only speak of the feveral Pieces now before us.
