T may perhaps be expected I should give fome Account of the unfortunate Author of the following beautiful Poems; but as this is already done in a masterly Manner, by the excellent Author of the Rambler, I shall refer my Readers to that elegant Writer for the Series of Misfortunes, and remarkable Circumstances which diftinguished the Life of Mr. Savage, and only speak of the several Pieces now before us.
